Just remember whatever you do you're not good you're not bad you're not escapin' N O O N E Worn flints flicked the dry sod, carrying the pitch baron into the parched lands. His auds swiveled and his roseate nostrils flared, catching the scent of many who had come this way. He could whinny, but then again it was too hot. He didn't feel like opening his already scorched throat once more. The black stag stalked towards the shadow of an overhead cloud, pausing with a swift flick of his dark whipcord, shivering to rid himself of flies. Sweat had begun to break out on his rust-tinted dark pelt, and he let out a snort as the cloud quickly left, taking with it any chance of precipitation and offering of shade in this forsaken desert.

Peach hooves clicked along the dirt as she ran, her head high, banner flying behind her. She loped past boulders, leapt over logs, her strides full of grace. She let out a soft whinny, tossing her poll. The feathers in her mane brushed her hot nape, Tsuki shook her nape. She skidded to a stop, a dust cloud shooting away from her. The fea pranced in a circle, flicking her banner against her flanks. She tossed her crown, letting out a soft snort. She glared up at the baking sun, her jade orbs full of hate. Uggh, I hate the heat! she snorted, throwing her head to the left, glancing around her. Where was she? Nothing but flat, empty lands. How long did it go? Would she find food? Water? Tsuki flicked her auds to and fro. Worrying now, she parted her maw, calling out. Her song was loud and beautiful. Would anyone hear her? The femme took a few steps back, nearly backing over her rump. She looked around once more, her pools full of worry. She swallowed hard, trying to swallow her fears. It never worked. She always worried. Ever since her human died. At least he left in peace.. She nickered out, constantly looking around her. Looking for anything. Equine, fox, bird, anything. Nothing. She flared her nares. Her eyes widened, was that an equine she smelt? Her mind must be fooling her, she took in the scents again. Yes, definitely another horse. Stud. She snorted, throwing her head down. A stallion! Oh how she hated their flirting! Tsuki's auds flung back, her stilts pushing her forward. Time to find him. Maybe he'll help her. She hoped, quickening into another canter, the dust flying behind her. word count 291 words muse weee status complete

Zavend pinned his ears at the sound of a fellow equine. He couldn't be in a lesser mood to meet someone, but then why was he here? He could at least show some hospitality. With a sigh, the arabian brute sauntered slowly towards the femmora in the distance. While her blue-white color might have impressed some other stallions, Zavend couldn't have cared less. A horse was a horse, especially on a hot day like today. Hot days made him grumpier than usual. The sun beat down on his raven god's hate of a body, reminding him of the desert. His former life. Hello, miss. His voice was husky from not talking for a time, and he cleared his already dry throat in an attempt to make up for it.
